I’m looking for a way to customize client settings, such as “Disable Avast Sounds” from the server. The only part that seems to manipulate client settings is the Properties for the Computer Catalog Group (and child groups), but even that doesn’t have what I’m looking for.
Is there a way to manipulate these settings centrally, i.e. in the ADNM console? Maybe Custom Ini settings?
I use ADNM half year, learn all features, but still don’t understand 1 thing.
Right click mouse on computer (group) in computer catalog, appear menu and i see ‘Apply to computer(group)’. What this? I click, but nothing done. Who knows?
This menu item causes push update of configuration - all changes are immediately enforced to all client computers in clicked group.
Sound settings are stored in standard Windows way in registry, you will probably need to use some group policy of Windows domain to change those sound settings.
