I had Adobe Reader 11.0.10 and I clicked on Check for updates and it mentioned it’s up-to-date. When I went to the Adobe Reader official website it says that it has been named Adobe Reader DC 2015.007.20033. What does DC means? Even I use adobe reader on my smartphone and it has that version installed. Why did it still say it’s up-to-date when I had Reader 11. Anyways, I installed Adobe Reader DC just in case if there would be a vulnerability for Reader 11.0.10. Reader and other program always has vulnerability.
Also why isn’t Avast Software Updater doesn’t detect this new version of Adobe Reader in the list?
Oh thanks :). It looks super cool. Best part is that there’s no option to change update settings like previous version of Adobe Reader. It’s all done automatically. It installs updates automatically and this is best part that I like :). So why it isn’t showing up in Avast Software Updater?
It’s user choice. I have been sticking with Adobe Reader for many years now. I don’t mind security issues and updates as long as I keep up with them. Why change program when you have been with them for many years and got used to it’s functions
There’s Foxit Reader and Nitro Reader. Both of them are good alternatives to Adobe Reader
