Advise after Clean Re-install

HI, just did a fresh reinstall after a system crash. It wasnt anything to do with any programs on my PC but a user error whereby I decided to do a bit of early spring cleaner and removed to much !

I have so far re-installed Avast IS version 8, MBAM Pro, Keyscrambler and Sandboxie.

I have not reinstalled at the moment Winpatrol or Secunia PSI.

My browsers Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 9 have only got the new Avast Adblocker which seem to be working ok in IE at least.

Any help regarding Winpatrol, Secunia etc to fine tune the security on my PC would be appreciated.

winpatrol is great and secunia psi is fine also.
avast and winpatrol is enough for security…i have avast internet security-all in one package and is great
don’t forgot about ccleaner…which i am sure everyone on this forum uses :slight_smile:

I believe it is only the online version of Secunia which requires Java. I run Secunia installed and don’t have Java.

I have the online version of Secunia installed and I use Java…no problems with either one.

i changed my post…installed secunia psi doesn’t require java :slight_smile:
