Evo-gen is not a maware detection, it is a heuristical detection of sorts, it may be a PUP warning.
Here I agree most likely a false positive detection for a slightly diferent or updated new version.
Avast has problems there. Did you report it to Avast?

The file detected by Avast! was NOT adwcleaner, but rather a Palemoon.exe file. There is no detection on Adwcleaner 4.1.1.0
I stand corrected. Avast! detects a TEMP file. Adwcleaner will still run for me though without flaw.
It is fixed.
