so you clicked delete (the log say search) and it is still there?

attach a OTL disgnostic log and essexboy will have a look tomorrow

Yes when trying to delete a warning comes up in my task bar I think it says Google has detected something trying to reset your home page or similar.

Im not that confident with computers but help is appreciated.

will search for a otl diagnostic log.
