After installing Internet Explorer 8 Windows Service Pack Setup showed up on programs in Zone Alarm. Is that normal?
A clearer explanation or a screen shot would help ???

I don’t use zone alarm, but in my mind, this would be normal.
You download a simple (small) installer package, it initiates a download, zone alarm picks it up, and you get an entry.
Don’t think you have to be alarmed by it.
Eminem, can you expand the column of the program names with the mouse?
It is not a problem. As scythe944 explained, ZA had to allow the setup program out to download the package containing IE8 Service pack. Otherwise, you never will get the Service pack to download.
