After uninstalling Avast, browsers do not work. The network works, update drivers, programs, ping works, but browsers do not function. So that browsers work, I need to disable and then enable the network driver. I did all the procedures suggested by Avast, but does not work. My network driver is: Killer E2200 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20). Browsers are Mozilla and Internet Explorer. Can anyone help me?
Did you use the avastclear tool followed by a reboot when completed? if not I’d suggest you do.
Another thing I should point out is that running the Eusing registry cleaner may have corrupted your system :-\
I did everything that Avast suggested. I did everything the computer world suggested. I repeated it several times. Nothing solves. My PC connects to the network, pings, but not surfing the net. I need to disable and after enabling the network driver to function. I’m already going crazy with it.

After running its “Fixlist” the PC restarted. I tested the “ping” and it worked, but the browsers have not worked. Needed again disable and enable the network driver. This problem is a “hell”
Was this free Avast or AIS ?

See license. I had an idea now. Will install the “OPERA” and see if it works.

The “OPERA” did not work too. The “OPERA” did not work well. Perhaps the problem might be in the windows registry.

If you could say you’ve run a registry cleaner prior to your issues (you don’t say you did or what vendor) might help track down your problems. Could be a necessary Windows registry entry is gone (forever).

I will re-install Avast and see if the problem disappears. I will backup the windows registry and then post here. For now thanks to everyone who helped me.

Hmm that is pro so there are no changes made to the network apart from webshield acting as a proxy, to the best of my knowledge no network drivers should have been installed

Now that essexboy has viewed your attached file, I would suggest that you modify that post (Modify button in the post) and remove the attachment as it is exposing an avast license and personal data.
