Agent is not installed when deploy package

Hi all,

I have a Enterprise administration console, i have created a package to install clients. Installation seems correct but agent is not installed and the client don’t talk with server, in fact it install a demo version instead my license. I have this problem with Windows 7, I have deployed one installation in 2008 Server and no problem.

Anyone have idea about this problem???

The client communication port is not open, so it can’t talk back:

In a new AEA installation, the default firewall rules configured automatically are:

avast! ADNM Agent access: TCP 16111
avast! ADNM AMS discovery: UDP 6000
avast! ADNM Cisco NAC access: TCP 16103
avast! ADNM Console access: TCP 16102
avast! ADNM Mirror access: TCP 5033

But, you need:

AEA Mirror: TCP 16135
AEA Client Communication Port: TCP 16136
AEA Client Communication Port: TCP 16139

And you have to configure these manually in the Windows Firewall.

Hi,

I have firewall disabled in client. The exact error is the next

02/13/13 10:43:40: CNU2291CST: LogonUser administrador ***** error 1385 (Error de inicio de sesión: el usuario no tiene permisos para el tipo de inicio de sesión solicitado en el equipo)

wich means that domain user administrator do not have rights in the client (???) I don’t know why
I tried all:

  • domain\administrator is administrator on the client
  • I have enabled local administrator account, and try with it, same result
  • I tried with my user wich is local and domain admin…

I have installed AEA in windows 2008 R2 and my clients are Windows 7

I have solved the error
There was in Server Windows Firewalll, not client firewall

Please attention: Console continues showing error in log, but installation is correct
