My laptop uses both LAN and WIFI connections.
By default, Windows 7 will use both connections for internet.
With AIS’ firewall on, connection of LAN is always cut down.

I don’t use AIS, you don’t say what Zone you are using, Home/Work/public (as the restrictions would differ) ?
Now I don’t know if this will work, but there have been some people report problems with internet connection sharing and AIS. So I’m not sure if the use of the LAN might be considered connection sharing or not, but you could try allowing internet connection sharing and see if that makes a difference.
Set “Home” or “Work” won’t solve?
Yes, I set it to HOME.
I knew the issue about sharing as I tried to use Virtual WIFI before.
My solution is to allow the traffic of all ports. But considered it not a safe solution.
It is strange that I did not change anything and both my WIFI and LAN are connected to Internet today.
While, the LAN was cut with AIS’s firewall on yesterday.
I have no clu now and I will come back if I find something.
So, let us say this problem is solved for now.
Thank you.
But are your AIS settings configurated for Internet sharing?
I can’t login either. It seems this is an ongoing problem.
Seems a severe incompatibility or conflict… Any other security program now or in the past? Other firewall, old antivirus?
When I posted this problem, the system does not have Internet sharing.
