AIS blocking PPTP VPN connections using Win7 client connection

Posted on another thread and am realizing it’s not going to get any attention…

I’m trying to find out why my VPN:
(Client - PPTP from Win7 MS client connection)
(Server - ASUS RT-AC68U setup for PPTP default)
isn’t working unless I disable Avast Firewall.

I’m using AIS 2015 v10.3.2225 (paid version)
Win 7 throws an 800 and occasionally an 807 error.

The VPN Connection and access to all remote network storage and devices work ONLY if the Avast Firewall is OFF.

A Google search for “Avast firewall blocking vpn” returns very old and un-useful posts with no solutions!
