Tried www.wsj.com (wall street journal) in both firefox and ie8 and I can’t watch videos. Since I changed to ais and sandboxed the browsers, many times I can’t watch even youtube. Says I don’t have flash installed. But I do.
On another not, how do you install or update extensions and add-ons with the sandbox?
I need to get the browsers running so there aren’t problems so this can be installed on a friend’s computer and his daughter’s pc too. They won’t deal with turning on and off or messing with browser. They might as well keep avast free then.
1:Do you have No Script add-on in Firefox? Yes- When you vist www.wsj.com select “temporarily allow all this page” in No Script, then you will be able to watch your video.
2:When I run/open Firefox/Flock browser in sandbox mode Firefox/Flock automatically install updates for the xxxx add-on (NoScript…DH)
I’ve tried it in ie8 also and they don’t play. I know about allowing things in noscript in ff, but it doesn’t matter what I allow. Both browsers work fine when not sandboxed.
I can not reproduce this problem, video’s from your link play fine in Sandboxed IE, - Firefox and - Opera. What you can try is to delete the contents of the Sandbox. Close all your browsers and choose :
Sandbox - Expert Settings - Web browsers - Maintenance - Delete contents - Ok.
