AIS Firewall. Advise me

I want to try a 2-way firewall. Would PC Tool firewall work well with AIS w/firewall disable? or perhaps coexisting one on when the other is off?

I just updated to Windows 7 and installed PC Tool & Avast pro at first but couldn’t make my license work so I ended up getting 3 licenses of AIS. I really like AIS but before I uninstall PCTool firewall I’d like

must posts I read here are for Avast pro and 3rd party firewall. I would appreciate any suggestion using AIS and 3rd party firewall that can runs smoothly or least troublesome.

I’d appreciate any input. Thanks

PC is using windows 7 Pro 64 bit and I’ll be installing MBAM full and SAS on demand as extra layers

Um…Hi there
Well what I would suggest to you to buying avast pro is buying avast antivirus with all features without the firewall and you may add the Pctool Firewall plus.

Or if you had already bought the AIS then go to control panel
Add/remove programs…if there is in the windows 7
Change/remove avast
Change I think…
Then untick the firewall to remove it

Oh that simple? I’ll try the control panel or maybe the “stop firewall” option in the users’ interface > firewall settings and see what works

I was afraid I would disrupt other features of the program combining with PCT firewall and was hoping for someone who uses this settings. It’s been a job just doing the clean install of windows 7 ::slight_smile:

I did buy the AIS 3pc package and it works fine.

Thanks you for the suggestions and quick response

If you dont want the Firewall of avast! then u need to untick it on the install or say like shiw liang said to change it. Turning off wont be enought.

I can also say if your pc tools is free then i can say why no keep avast! firewall ticked and on ?
