Hello everyone.
I have question about my provider of internet (Name: One (Slovenian Company, also work in Macedonia))
After installing Avast Firewall, I noticed that Avast block some connections.
With this tool in avast, I saw that the IP address from my Internet provider is blocked. (I think that is blocked because the remote address was address provider, also there was some other addresses).
The same happened when I used Comodo (earlier).
How to make avast do not scan this address.
Is avast by default block (internet) provider address?
HELP PLEASE ?? :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :‘( :’( :‘( :’( :‘( :’( :‘( :’( :‘( :’( :‘( :’(

I do not know what to do. Should I put the provider as a friend to the list?
I need a response from someone who has a firewall, or someone who is employed in Alvil.

I don’t think Avast would block the IP address of everyone’s ISP out of the box. That would certainly tick off a lot of people.
In your case, if it is blocking the IP address that your ISP has given you (weird), then yes, you should add it into your safe list.
I don’t have the Avast Firewall, nor do I work for Alwil, so you can take my advise or leave it.
Thanks, for your help.
Sure. Is it working for you now?
what are the effects of these blocked connections, you just see that in the logs or it actually blocks something…just FYI, I too have entries in the fw log related to my ISP dns, others to my router’s IP…no effect so far…I guess it’s either wrong entries or just some packets blocked that should not appear in the log. This said I never observed this behavior with CIS.
