AIS Firewall Question

This may be a silly question, but…

When I open the avast user interface, or even click on the summary button within the user interface, AIS firewall seems to configure the user interface to access the network again, and creates a log entry to that effect.

The attached screendump from a few minutes of playing around in the UI hopefuly shows what I mean.

Is this normal/expected behaviour?

Is the application really being configured every time, (or is the FW being configured to allow the applicaton access), and if so, why, when the application rule for the UI already exists?

yep I gave up with this firewall a little while ago…expecting Avast5.1 to get rid of all these bugs, but thanks for reporting, the devs will probably notice your thread, hopefully :wink:

ps: to your issue specifically, there’s not much to do, the firewall just shouldn’t do that, that’s a bug.
