I’ve been having trouble on my Mac lately, and I’m poking around in various places to diagnose the problem. One of the places I looked was /private/var/log/system.log, aka /var/log/system.log. I see blocks of messages like the following, repeated over and over. Does this indicate something seriously broken on my system, or is this an unsurprising and mundane result from avast?
