Alert on WikiProcess :-?

Hi, I’m Guido Arata, the producers of the software Wiki Process, a freeware/opensource software wich allow you to see all the active process on your pc giving for eachone a detailed description.
The installer of Wiki Process is recognized by Avast Antivirus as a Trojan/Worm, but this is impossible (as you could see from the sources). The software has been recognized as a virus for the first time after the last Avast’s update…
Why the software is recognized as a virus?

Wiki Process installer is here: http://www.delfinsblog.it/wikiprocess/installawikiprocess.exe
Wiki Process sources are here: http://www.delfinsblog.it/wikiprocesssources.rar

I’m waiting for your reply,
thanks for your attention

Best regards,
Guido Arata

Probably the best thing would be to submit it to avast for analysis and correction of the VPS file.

Send the sample to virus@avast.com zipped and password protected with password in email body and false positive in the subject. Give a brief outline of the problem (possibly a link to this thread, or a copy and paste), the fact that you believe it to be a false positive and include the password in the body of the email.

As a temporary measure so that it can be used, add it to the exclusions lists (Standard Shield, Customize, Advanced, Add and Program Settings, Exclusions) and periodically check it (scan it in the chest), there should still be a copy in the chest even though you restored it to the original location. When it is no longer detected then you can also remove it from the Standard Shield and Program Settings, exclusions.

Ok,thanks for your speedy and detailed reply…
I’ve sent the email… I wish in a quick resolution, is a bad position for me…

I appreciate that, unfortunately I’m only an avast user, but any FP is usually quickly dealt with.
