Why did the Cancel and OK button get replaced all the way to the right? It was much better when it was at the left side, since that’s where the Update button also is. Now we have to go with our cursor all the way to the right to press Cancel and OK. Kind of a weird decision with no added value, in my opinion.

Your image shows 6.0.1091…
Did you reboot?
It shows .1091 because that’s the version I’ve got installed. I was just wondering about this change. Updating now
6.0.1091 never looked this way on my system…
Wow really? Strange. Perhaps some sort of bug then?
Change the language to english and check… maybe it is because of the locale setting?
It’s the same in the Hungarian, English and German version here on my OS.

The buttons are in the same location in 6.0.1091 and 6.0.1119, as your picture shows.

It did on mine after 6.0.1091 installed and that was clearly the English version.
Hmmm… I never saw any “OK” button on Avast…

You only see the button, if you run a manual update.
Try it.
:-[
…stupid me…
You are, like always, right, Asyn.
You only see the button, if you run a manual update.
You are correct.
@ pepe2, Nothing is wrong with your machine or Avast.
Good. But I’d still like to know the motivation behind this ‘move’. As I said: “It was much better when it was at the left side, since that’s where the Update button also is. The button is on the right side only when you are doing a manual update. If your updates are automatic, you will not see this button.
If you open your Avast GUI > Settings > Updates > Engine and Virus Definitions…is it set for automatic, ask, or manual?
If you open your Avast GUI > Settings > Updates > Program…is it set for automatic, ask, or manual?

I know it only happens with manual updates, but it’s still a weird decision to place the buttons from the left side (where the update button also is!) all the way to the right side.

Resize the window, problem solved.

I tried resizing the window, but the OK button stayed on the right side. That doesn’t bother me, as I don’t have the AvastUI at full screen anyway.
Was resizing supposed to move the buttons to the left?
OT: Is the forums unusually slow loading today?

- No. But it should show the button without the need to scroll.
- Not here.
