Is there something in Avast that would turn my Word Documents to Read Only. I can’t seem to be able to switch them back the traditional way.
Does “Read only” mean file attributes, or some other things?
I don’t think Avast would play with file attributes. If you mean some others, please describe more details.

I have similar issues with some of my documents. When I try to open them, I’m told I don’t have permission to open it/them. They’re MY documents, created by me. Why would I not be authorized to open them? Avast??
