All outgoing mail get stuck

Hi

After updating my avast! Home Edition to version 4.7 it is
impossible to send any e-mail. According to a Microsoft-
technician this is a “pure” avast-problem.

Is it normal that only 5 of the 7 “Providers” are running?
With the earlier version, 6 providers were running. Now
it seems that the provider “Internet Mail” is not running.

What can I do to make things work like it did before
with the earlier version?? HELP Please!

What operating system are you using?
Is the “avast Mail Scanner” service running? (Control Panel → Administrative Tools → Services). If not, is it possible to start it manually?
