\All Users\Documents access denied?

I’ve been given a laptop (WinXP) with a virus on it and while I believe I have removed the virus c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents is currently locked. As far as I can tell I am logged in as the Administrator and I can’t access it.

Does anyone know how I can unlock it?

I’ve tried booting up with BART, but it is locked out too.

If you run chkdsk /R (the scandisk), will it help?
You need to grand access to that folder if it fails, using Windows Explorer.
