Almost 30 GB of "Ghost" space (Malware?)

I noticen something today. I used to have my system partition pretty clean, and noticed I had only 1GB left. I selected every item on my C: unit (including hidden files) and it was lie 60GB, my HD says it has 90GB used and I don’t know how, but 30GB are gone in matter of days. Any thoughts on this? logs attached

My C: partition has run out of space by now. I appreciate help.

This suddendly appeared on my hard drive.

And suddendly dissapeared.

EDIT: I think the files on the previous post are related to CCleaner. But im not sure.

I found that the space i’m missing it’s probably inside C/:system volume information, I changed the access permissions to gain access to the folder. When I checked it, i returned it to its previous status (only system can access it). I deleted my restore points and gained 20GB but it’s still decreasing by moments.

I see that you have the NG component running.
That can be the reason.

What is that? It is an avast function? If that is the case, why is it doing things on its own? Can you explain it to me more Eddy, please?

And why is it running? Is this its normal behaviour?

Download and install WinDirStat. Check which files are taking up your spaces.

It doesen’t seem to track the files inside folders I don’t have access to (like System Volume Information).

Your pagefile.sys and hiberfile.sys is taking almost 30GB of space.

Disabling hibernation:

Thanks guys, that was really helpful to regain some free space.

The thing is still bothering me is this. The sum of all files doesen’t even get close to the Gb of the disk info.
