Am I being scammed by Avast?

I have been subscribed and charged for a VPN product even though I cancelled a free trial. Now when I try to request a refund, I can’t complete the request because a window opens which only presents an option to start a chat. When I do that, the chat is never responded to and so there is no way to complete the refund request. I feel like this is deliberately organised this way to avoid honouring the refund policy.

I have the same Problem! Its not a scam, there support just can’t handle all the requests. I had a guy answer today, but when he did I completely forgot about even opening the Support chat and so my issue hasn’t been resolved. So no, they are not scamming but their support is just stupid.
