AMS and Avast One" Activity log"

Hello,

On AMS 23.3.2 we can delete the « activity log » by going to :
settings > activity log > trash can

How do we delete the «activity log » on :
AMS 23.15.0
and
Avast One 23.16.1

going to :
messages > activity
doesn’t have that option !

Pat

Hi,

AMS 23.16.1 just came out and no fix yet …

Hello David : any clue on this ?
Cheers.

Pat

If that is a call to me, I’m sorry I don’t use the AMS product.

Hi David,

Your profile indicates “Avast! Mobile Security”, and when referring to the topic : “Can’t manually update Virus Definition anymore”, it looks like your Samsung phone is running that product …
So I’m a little be puzzled about your answer.
Pat

Sorry I was completely thinking on another abbreviation ABS Avast Browser Security.

Whilst I’m still using it on one phone, I’m not using it on the other testing other options. I really hate the current user interface, locations changed and not intuitive also seems dumbed down a bit like Avast One…

Finding anything in the UI is a pain.
You have to look in multiple locations Home, Explore and Account.

  • Home appears to be more interested in pushing the paid products.
  • Explore, nothing of real interest there and again more promotion of paid products.
  • Account, is the closest to any use at all and even then what you are asking doesn’t appear to be there.

Cont:

Don’t know what happened there it posted my incomplete response (thankfully it didn’t just delete it).

Account cont:

  • My Statistics really isn’t of much use/interest
  • Settings I would have expected to be more helpful and the area I might have expected to see something like Manually updating the virus definitions.
  • Protection should have gone bingo, but bugger all help there
  • Virus definitions gives basic stats - in that it shows the Last Updated and Version number
Out to the right of that is a refresh like icon - I’m guessing it effectively does a manual update - the icon rotates when pressed - so I guess this is the manual update check.
  • Automatically update over WiFi (is enabled on my settings). A wild assed guess, disabling that (leave it for a while) would result in the above point triggering a manual update.

So what was it I said in my previous interrupted part:
“I really hate the current user interface, locations changed and not intuitive also seems dumbed down a bit like Avast One…”

Oops, dropped the ball again, as Far as the activity log goes - that no longer appears to be in that Account > Settings location
