AMS beta firewall is crashing

AMS is force closing when I try to open some features:

  • App Manager
  • Firewall
    I’ve sent the report. What more should I do? Logcat?

It is not asking for root access, i.e., it is not in the SuperSU 2.46 logs.
All other root apps are working on my Android 5.1.1.

I’ve tried to clean the app data. No luck.
Also, please, add a firewall rules import/export feature… It’s a nightmare and a lose of time when we need to make a clean install…

This issue continues unresolved.
When I try to open the firewall settings, AMS crash on ROM based on CM 12.1 (Android 5.1.1).
Root (and SuperSu) are working for all other rooted apps.
No support at all…

Any news from this crash? AMS firewall can’t be used as it force closes AMS :-\

As said, all the beta stuff is now on G+. I doubt you’ll get an answer here.

Hi,

as far as I know, the firewall is pretty much discontinued. It’s still there, but noone is maintaining it, so you probably won’t get a fix, at least not anytime soon.

Shame. I got no other feeling, sorry. If it is not maintained, remove it.
