AMS notification aligment on SGS II + error on status name

Seems AMS first notification does not support custom font feature on SGS II (non-rooted 4.0.3).

Plus in one place avast says it is protecting YO, no matter, custom or native SGS II font is used, so it is typo error in app :smiley: All screens attached.

OK, I do not know how, but I was checking some other fonts and later I was back again on the one I liked most, and notification font has changed too. Yet, as you can see from screenshot, it remains aligned incorrectly comparing to other notifications (no matter what font is used). PS. Error with “avast! is protecting yo.” is kinda confirmed, it stays in this way always.

Please try to change the icon (f.e. on grey one) and check; I am not able to reproduce it on my SGSII 4.0.3. Thanks.

Maybe it will help if you could post your screens, or give a link on PM, as I can’t compare them. I do not know how it looks (or should look) on other SGS II :wink:

Thanks :slight_smile: Surely it is ROM related, not avast problem. Just connected USB to see, will I get the same good alignment. Icon is perfectly aligned with system notifications, but text is not.

If I am not wrong you are using CyanogenMod ROM, not Samsung’s TouchWized one. So, I think is specifically ROM related thing.

Yes, this is CM ROM, but the same behavior is at generic ROM from Samsung.
