9-11-2001 A Day I Will Never Forget!

I remember it well (and I doubt I will ever forget either), even though I’m in the UK.
I happened to be watching the BBC News and watched this live, from when it was first reported as more of an air accident and when I saw the replay (and then the second aircraft), it was very clear this was no accident but a deliberate strike.
Exactly the same here.
When I originally tuned in, for a moment I thought I was watching a Movie Trailer. Upon watching in real time the second plane hit the tower I immediately realized it was no movie.
Just unbelievably surreal, and unforgettable!
The real heros to me were the passengers on the plane that crashed in PA.
They gave their lives so that that plane didn’t reach the capitol.
We also need to remember all those first responders how concentrated on
saving others and ultimately gave their own life.
That event united this country into realizing the importance of standing together
to fight a common enemy.
Maybe this 20th anniversary will instill that unity again?
This day isn’t only burned into my head, but in my soul. So I’ll never forget. It still hurts.
