An important virus issue.

Hello…

Today, (it’s late!) I have discovered that a site, (don’t click on it) www. googkle.com, can infect your computer if you go on this site.
I have read that navigate on this site can inject in your PC trojans, virus, and various spywares…
Am I protected with Avast?
Have you got a virus definition file with these virus?

Thanks!
More info on FSecure website.

JoJoFrench… Please do not post a link to a site that you know is infected. Others may click on it, even if you do say not to.

It’s allready blocked, and no one can’t reach it. The page can’t be found as i know.

Sorry. I believe the link appears as text, not as link!

 nope its a link… put your mouse over it  Even though the link appears to now be dead, its just not a good idea to post stuff like that k? Just a friendly reminder

No, it still appears as an active/clickable link, remove the www. in the URL and it will become text googkle.com, or put a space on other side of the dot ‘.’, e.g www . googkle.com again that is displayed as text.

Please, do not post virus links here… :stuck_out_tongue:
Can you edit your first post?

Don’t post a infected link again, and yes we are aware of the mispelling of google will lead towards a virus. Avast! should be able to block this virus from entering your computer by webshield.
