There’s a simple error in the UI.
When in quarantine screen, if you click in a file and choose to delete it the highlighted option is “No”, when it should be “Yes” to agree with Windows delete files confirmation boxes, where the “Yes” is the default selected option.
Well that depends on your way of thinking, as a double confirmation really will ensure you don’t delete a file accidentally. So I think Alwil are airing on the side of safety.

I disagree…
If I’m using the mouse to delete a file I can simply select the Delete from the context-menu and click in “Yes”.
But, if I’m using the keyboard to delete a file, I should use the Delete key and then I press Enter, the Enter is the confirmation, there’s no need on having to use TAB to confirm.
Granted it will make your life easier but it is designed so that it takes out an element that could prevent accidental deletion of a file…
There have been many times when this enter - enter issue has caused me to delete stuff by mistake…
I personally think that every delete confirmation should be this way…but then that is just me…
If you can restore it from Recycle bin, yes, I agree with you.
But deleting from Chest is a no-return operation.
You’re right, you won.
Don’t worry. I’m not fighting. Just saying my opinions.

Who said that I thought you were fighting?
We’re not fighting…
