The Avast mobile software updated on my tablet the other day–and now I have this notification (see attachment), and no way to remove/disable it:

Hello, have you tried disabling it in the settings of Avast Mobile Security? On AMS main screen select overflow menu → settings → notification center and there unchecking the notification icon. Sometimes you need to check it and uncheck it again for it to take effect after the update.
