Animated icon / Sounds / login with e-mail?

Hello:

I’m using: AVAST 2014 R4 (9.0.2021)

I’m trying to figure out if I can do away with the distractions of the animated icon, and sounds / voice overs.

Does the icon ever do anything other than the orange and blue ripple effect?

Is there somewhere I can listen to all the possible sounds / voice overs?

Using one’s e-mail to login is bad - what if I delete mine because it was getting spam, and I forgot to first change it here? I would not be able to get back into my original account. Also, see how Yahoo is allowing unused e-mails to be “recycled.” If you look in the area where you can select “Not Spam,” there’s also a place where you can check “Not my e-mail.” This in itself creates a security risk, for someone who had that e-mail, let alone if they used it here, or somewhere else. I read somewhere that one should always login with an ID.

dont you have spam filter? .... and you can always have multiple mail accounts as most have today one fore person to person use .... and one that you use for all online register stuff

if you dont like it, turn it off
