I saw another post earlier about this annoying ghost that remains on the screen after trying to start an avast scan.
It says start avast scan or something to that effect & stays on the computer screen until a reboot. Has there been any help from anyone on this? I’m really getting annoyed at it.
Also Avast says after the memory scan, Continuing with scan but never does start. I have to go a second time & then it starts the scan.

I mean, is the computer stressed? I’ve seen these ‘ghosts’ when the computer is stressed, something rare I admit, but anyway…
No,I shut down Spy sweeper due to some problems they are having with their newest program, seems like everyone was having a problem with slowing the computers. Mine doesn’t seem to be slow. I usually keep things pretty clean in here. Just can’t figure this one out though. Got to be something within maybe the Avast’s newest program update I am thinking.

The last avast update has nothing to do with XP… I think the problem is on a high resource usage or a conflict, not in the avast update.
