Hello,

Recently, when my mom (who also uses Avast Internet Security) sent me an e-mail, I noticed a message was under the mail.
The message is in Dutch, because her installation is Dutch. This is the message: “Dit e-mailbericht bevat geen virussen en malware omdat avast! Antivirus actief is.” which roughly translates to “This message doesn’t contain viruses and malware because Avast! Anti-Virus is active.”
I think such messages are highly annoying. When I download a random “spam filter”, I also get those messages under every mail. But Avast, (something I paid for!) shouldn’t do this!
So I tried to turn it off, but I can’t find the option to disable it.

So my question is: How do I disable the Avast message under every sent mail?

And my message to Avast is: Just remove that message. Nobody cares and it’s just extremely annoying.

Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards, Tom.

Here you go

Thank you very much!

Glad you got it sorted out.
There’s no accounting for personal choice though. I had paid users cheering (well almost) when this feature was ‘reborn’ in avast! 9, the settings for it having disappeared during version 7.
