Annoying warning in avastium.log

There’s a new log file in Avast 9.0 called “avastium.log”
I don’t know exactly what it’s for. I guess it’s something regarding user account.
Anyway, I noticed that if I disconnect from internet Avast starts to log there a continuous warning
because it can’t find a connection:

[1019/154524:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
[1019/154529:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
[1019/154534:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
[1019/154539:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
[1019/154544:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
[1019/154549:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
[1019/154554:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
[1019/154559:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.
[1019/154604:WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.

…and so on and on and on…a line every 5 seconds!!!

The only way to stop this warning is connect to internet again.
I calculate that, working offline, that file would grow averagely 4Mb a day.

Ok, this may be not a real bug, but I think it’s a very annoying and useless feature.
I hope they will correct it in the next release.

Does anyone notice this too?

yes i have the same issue.
i m using avast 2014 free x86 on win xp.

the file–>
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\log\avastium.log
is 2 MB large and filled with these lines.

WARNING:dns_config_service_win.cc(622)] Failed to read DnsConfig.

…and confirm me too that the bug has been solved in latest version.

yes this bug has been solved (fixed) as i could not see any lines in my “avastium.log” file…
&
i am using windows xp sp3 x86 (avast free 9.0.2018 free)
