I have a similar problem. Since about a month Avast tells me every, and sometimes several times per day, that it has blocked connection to asrupdates.com because it is infected without telling me which programme or applet is requesting the connection so I can delete it.

Anyone an idea how to solve the problem?

When you create your own new topic, post a screenshot of the avast alert window with the Details option selected, that should also show the process responsible for the connection. This wpuld also give an indication on the action/s required.
