Another skin abducted by aliens ?

OK, it looks like I am forced to ask in here… I sent few PMs as well as few e-mails, but still got no response from no one…

It’s been two weeks since I sent my latest skin “TERMINAL-0010” to Alwil… I don’t know in what stage is whole procedure right now…

I know you Alwil guys are very busy, but all I need is one short, brief e-mail or pM saying:

“Skin looks like sh!t… we won’t publish it…” or maybe something like this…
“Skin is OK, we will publish it as soon as it gets possible…”

Can I get an answer from someone, please…

I guess Vlk is just too busy with other stuff at the moment. I’m sure he’ll respond as soon as possible.

In my personal opinion, there’s no reason for not publishing it.

Thanks Igor, your words always makes me happy. I know that Vlk is probably very, very busy at the moment, can’t blame him… he works so hard on this product…

I just wanted to hear from others too, what do they think of this skin… users and also other Alwil team members…

NOTE: Don’t publish version that I sent to Vlk 2 weeks ago. I have found small GFX issues, and I fixed them all in latest version of that skin. When you guys decide you wanna publish it, let me know and I’ll send you final version of “Teminal-0010” skin… thanks !

Although it is not so beautiful as my minimalist suggestion ;D it makes me feel back to my origins in DOS, terminal, green videos 8)

Very nice, Sasha. :slight_smile: As an old-timer (I go back even before DOS, first office computer was a CP/M Osborne), it sure brings back the “good old days”, and if it’s officially adopted and made available I might well grab it for my default.

I knew that you are going to find one for yourself my friend, sooner or later… I’m glad that you like this one…

Still no respond from Alwil guys, it’s nothing like they don’t like this skin, but I’m sure they don’t have enough time to answer. Every single time when I sent them my skins, Vlk used to send me e-mail immediately. I know that they will respond soon…

Untill then, skin is available for download from my server. If you like it, you can keep it, if not, just delete it… here we go:

In this forum I found skins, help, other friends that like me concern about pc-related questions, etc.

Btw, Nippon skin is not out yet… Vlk is in USA, so I guess we have to wait till he’s back in Czech Republic. Maybe it would be much faster if I take a ride from here to USA and give him CD with my new skin in personal, hehe ;D

Yeah, and that’s because that was just temporary link… on my personal web space. I erased file from there 'cause now you can normaly download that file from avast skins download section… just go there and see…

P.S. 4 days ago I asked my good friend in Croatia to install avast! free edition to my parent’s PC. Finally they are protected with great antivirus too.

Any advice guys what else should be set in settings to work properly considering they are still on Dial-up connection ?
