Is it only on tumblr that you get the alerts

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
THEN
Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
[*]Close all open programs and internet browsers.
[*]Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”
[*]Confirm each time with Ok.
[*]Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
[*]Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
[*]You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S0].txt as well.
I did what you said, and I’ve attached the logs, but the alert is still appearing (with a different string of characters in the URL after “?rnd=” each time).
As far as I remember, I have only seen the popup alert when on Tumblr blog pages (not the main Tumblr dashboard).
And is this just in firefox or all browsers
I just tested Chrome, and it’s happening with that too.
Also, in order for the alert to appear (in Firefox or in Chrome), I sometimes need to open many Tumblr blog pages and/or wait a while, i.e. it seems to happen sporadically.
I wonder if it is rolling ads on tumblr that are causing this…
I would like to use a stronger tool on this although, the current indications are that it is a website thing
Download and Install Combofix
Download ComboFix from one of the following locations:
Link 1
Link 2
VERY IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop
[*]Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
[*]Accept the disclaimer and allow to update if it asks
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v706/ried7/NSIS_disclaimer_ENG.png
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v706/ried7/NSIS_extraction.png
[*]When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
[*]Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.
Notes:
Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now
I ran Combofix and I then tried opening Tumblr blog pages, but I didn’t see the alert, so hopefully the problem has been fixed. I’ll post here if the alert pops up again.
Thank you so much for your help!
Edit: Also, I think that most Tumblr blog pages don’t have ads.
If you could let me know when you are happy, meanwhile I will check out what combofix removed
Additional info to the alleged malware…
Funny is it is browser dependant, in Chrome it does not infest: https://www.virustotal.com/nl/url/a8a48fe811e29bb1231e0111444c3932496bf2a354bd61f5493e5d715e8c82b6/analysis/1436819854/

: Keep Java Updated :
WARNING: Java is the #1 exploited program at this time. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that computer users disable Java
See this article
I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)
If you do need to keep Java then download JavaRa
Run the programme and select Remove Java Runtime. Uninstall all versions of Java present
Once done then run it again and select Update Java runtime > Download and install Latest version
