Another win32 detected

i was reading another post where you instructed a guy to create a new folder on their C:/someName and instruct the standard shield to ignore that folder, so avast ignores it, then somehow get the virus or worm out of the chect and put it in that new folder. then i guess you wanted the guy to run Virus-Total scan and post the results on this site. Am I on the right track? I have Super-AntiSpyware. Ad-aware, Malware Bytes, Spyware terminator, and high jack this

anyway during a thorough avast scan just now i encountered this worm WIN32 TROJAN-GEN twice. and each time i sent it to the chest. is using your long procedure the only way to get rid of the worm, or will simply sending it to the chest solve thinhgs? i imagine i can’t have both computers on, and that it very well could have jumped. might be something to attack tomorrow. trendmicro.com is not blocked so i do not think it is conflicter.

it doesnt give me the option of copying m avast log… maybe is need to run these in safe,
see you tomorrow

Virus total will not get rid of any infection. Its used to give you an idea of whether a file is actually infected ( or a fp )
If you have an infection, post the name and location of the file/files, as well as your HJT log, and scans from MBAM and SAS. Make sure to schedule a boot time scan, with Avast
I think what your talking about,is, telling Avast to ignore a certain folder,so the file can be sent to virus total, without Avast alerting
