What am I supposed to do? I finally got an answer from a Pritam Kumar Das for case #24159894. He asks for a screenshot of my PayPal payment which was booked in error. BUT - I can’t answer even his email because some automated bot always tells me that email to his return address is blocked. What now? How can I contact Avast support without always getting to some forms which don’t let me answer reasonable questions in some normal way?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
I have raised your problem in another area of the forum in the hope of triggering an Avast Response to your post here.
Thank you very much, DavidR.
You’re welcome, hopefully it will bear fruit.
Hi @Titleist , I’ve reviewed your support case, and I can confirm that your response was successfully delivered. Our team will follow up with you shortly.
We’re also looking into why you received a bounce-back message despite the message being delivered correctly, and we’ll share any findings as soon as possible.
Sorry about the trouble!
Well, I tried the Chat today - finally found it. It does not show when you click Refunds but in another support thread I found it, finally. It was complicated again but they said they will help. Well, I am not overly optimistic but I’ll report back once I got my money back. This was just incredible - I never had contact made so excessively difficult as with Avast. I hope you will finally get all of this resolved. I spent about 4 hours altogether just trying to solve this easy problem.
Avast - never had anything like it before. Terrible. Yes, everybody “forwards it to a team”, “tries to help”. Nothing but nice words - but you do absolutely nothing. Instead you give me the runaround. I have answered questions at least 5 times, tried on Facebook, even found the GPA No. and gave it to them. Nothing. Just a while ago after several weeks they claimed Avast never received money even though I posted the PayPal transfer where you took my money without my consent. It is absolutely sad that an antivirus company behaves like the worst of the people they claim to fight. I have tried to get my money back since Dec. 3. I told you that my patience is over and gave you 2 weeks notice which is over today. Will have to forward this to my lawyer. Just incredible how often I now heard that you will make things right … Or will you finally get your act together and return those €32,99 today? I seriously doubt it.
