I am gonna leave this forum once and forever if someone deletes my post for no REASON!
My “WSC cannot detect AV and Firewall” post was DELETED!
For no REASON!
Why? Because I was trying to help people! Oh my god, I cannot do anything on this forum!
Always deleting my posts and stuff! And that is not messing around in forums, that post was because I CARED!
It’s also rude to copy and paste others help suggestions without supplying reference to that person plus you have been warned previously about offering technical help suggestions when your qualifications in these matters have not been assessed.
Note! that it was also mentioned for you to remove the " pm me for help " from your signature as this gives unknowing users the opinion that you are some kind of specialist.
So are you saying that people now have to be accessed and given a test in order to help others in this forum? I thought the whole idea of community forums was to help those that needed help. If this is the case I will leave the forums also. I had no idea anyone has to be qualified in “Avast” to post here.
I don’t think anyone will argue that ‘offering help’ is serious stuff and if not properly understood and applied can lead to devastating results/damage to an OS.
It becomes clear very quickly when help is offered in a clear and confident manner that addresses people with respect and courtesy and When it’s Not.
Most here at the forum have come to taking and giving advice and direction/suggestion seriously, very seriously
That’s all.
Being that you don’t know what technical help was posted would mean you are commenting on a matter that you don’t fully understand.
When posting on technical subjects such as script commands " yes you should be qualified " and as DavidR mentioned the article in question is already discussed in several areas of the forum.
Well we don’t know what other forums your talking about but most security forums behave in the same manner in that mature means being responsible and not adding to topics that exceed your capabilities and knowledge and respecting the fact that what you might be posting could also harm the systems of the people you think you are helping which is why it was mentioned that technical help should be left to those that know what there talking about and in the event some detrimental problem arises then also be capable of resolving the matter.
You also clearly haven’t learnt from yesterdays mistake as you just posted the same script again which has been removed “again” :
