Anti-Explolt and Anti-Rootkit Shleld don't work - plz help!

Hello,
After latest upgrade of Avast Free Antivirus (date: 2018-03-09) two components stops to work:

  • Anti-Explolt Shleld
  • Anti-Rootkit Sheld
    If I try to turn them on manually by pressing TURN ON button nothing happened. Rebooting of OS don’t work.
    Do you have a idea what is wrong?

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

Thx, but still dont work. Any other ideas?

  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

  • Other security related software installed - No, never on this machine. I use only Your software at all time.
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast - only Your software.

I’m getting suspicions that it might be some harmful software installed on my computer.

  1. Download Avast Free Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.
