I believe I have a keylogging program in my android mobile. Does the Avast Mobile security detect / protect / alert/ or remove these programs? I have someone that knows each time I am calling particular persons from my contact list. When Avast was installed, nothing was found and no alerts have occurred.
If this doesn’t have anti-keylogging protection, is there one that I can also download (via free app) that is compatible with Avast?
Hi,
I don’t think a keylogger is need for what you described. I’m sure there might be various, for example Anti-Theft, applications that might provide the person you are mentioning such information.

I believe you are correct. Because I am not actually keying in my phone calls - they are in my contact list and I am simply selecting an option. Then I am being questioned by my boyfriend about talking to the same individuals that I have called, and only on the days that I call - so I know he has installed spyware on my phone of some sort. This is the reason that I purchased the Avast! mobile. Now, I’m not sure if the Avast software would alert me to any strange software that was created by him. He is technologically advanced and may have created his own software. Does the Avast alert me, or just prevent further transmissions to an incorrect source? I have tried to call my one friend a few times and so far, no questions. So maybe it’s working as a good shield. I just expected the scan may have found something strange, but it never did.
Hi,
that really depends on what the software might be. For example Anti-Theft applications are sometimes reported by the scanner, but not all of them. It really depends on their capabilities and their source of origin. If he, for example, installed such software from a well-known company, it might be that it’s being whitelisted by the scanner automatically.
