Anti-spam not moving spam to junk folder in Outlook

Hello,

I’m using Avast Internet Security and activated the anti-spam module and Outlook automatic move to junk folder option but the spams are not moved to the junk folder in Outlook.
I’m using Outlook 365 for desktop. The emails are well marked as "spam in the inbox but not moved.

I also tried to make a repair of Avast but it did not help.

Could you help me to solve this ?

Thank you in advance.

Update to the latest version (18.7.2354): https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=222453.0

Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, I’m already using the latest version mentioned.

  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

I’m using Windows 10 Pro and Office 365, both up to date.
No other security software installed.
Before Avast, only Windows default anti-virus was enabled.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

As I mentioned in my first message, I already tried that without success.

Sorry, my mistake…

  1. Download Avast Internet Security: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_internet_security_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

I just did this procedure but still not working.

Since I made this new installation, I also have an issue with Avast Password in Google Chrome,
it says : "Oops. Unexpected error.
Please go to settings and reinstall the browser extension. "

I did reinstall the extension but it end up with the error :
“We’re sorry, there was a problem, make sure you have the latest Avast Passwords desktop application and try again.”
