I have my GPS turned off ALL the time. But for some reason, Anti-Theft have it turned on. and it won’t let me turn it off… like WTF AVAST!

Hello,
this happens if Anti-Theft marks the device as “lost”. Open Anti-Theft to mark the phone as “found” and disengage the forced GPS.
Werner
I figured it out. it’s a bug with in the Low Battery notification.
If you tell Anti-Theft to notify when Low battery state + Always notify on low battery, it doesn’t release the GPS On state even when the battery goes above the threshold.
If I turn off Always notify on low battery, obviously it never notify me… and of course it never turns on the GPS. But it’s definitely a bug with “Always notify on low battery” which causes the GPS to stay on. Also this ONLY happens right after I get an email about my battery is low.
PLEASE FIX
Oh and BTW, going in to Anti-Theft app, you can’t turn off anything because it doesn’t recognize it’s being track/locate. Even by going in to the Avast profile to send commands to the phone it doesn’t turn off the GPS. ex: turning on locate and turning it back off.
The only way I have been able to get Anti-Theft to release the GPS is to reboot the phone.
