I have installed Antispam for Exchange on our SBS 2011 with Exchange 2010.
The antispam is correctly identifying SPAM, correctly marking the subject with *** SPAM *** and sending to client.
However, the message is delivered to the inbox, not the junk folder. I have the option set to deliver SPAM to junk.
I can select the option to delete spam, and that works fine. Just can’t get it to go to the Junk folder on the clients.
I am having the same problem. The application marks it as desired, but will not send it to the designated folder. Have you ever figure out a solution yet?
Yes, I do. But that only works when outlook is running. When outlook is not running they just get dumped in the inbox. So, when a user opens outlook in the morning, there are a lot of *** SPAM *** messages in the inbox. Most SPAM comes in the middle of the night. Am I missing something?
Avast Tech Support informed me that the Exchange AntiSpam filter does not separate out SPAM messages. It only flags them with *** SPAM ***
Not the answer I was looking for, but I just got Exchange to set SCL to 5 for all messages that had *** SPAM *** in the subject. Then they went to the Junk folder.
