Any 1 ?

Any 1 had a problem with malwarebytes that detect msconfig.exe and a registry of windows ? As i see some and i did ignore them and its 100 % false positive just to wonder if some 1 did report it ?

Did a update and scan earlier today with no problems. (Win 7)

Same here^^

No problems with the scans, be it full or quick^^

no, nothing here either

No problem here.

None…Do you think it is a fp or it is really infected ???

System32\msconfig.exe and a registry of Microsoft flagged as Trojan.Agent >:(

Post the log and lets see what it says ;D

Here the log.

I would check the file out at Virustotal or Jotti, but it should not be in the run section of your registry - so that can be removed

Im not in the mod today for report alway a false positive… !!!

I think MBAM called due to the unusual run entry

What that mean ???!!!

Msconfig should never be in the registry on a run key unless you have run MSconfig to do some changes

I never touched msconfig.exe and the last creation is in 2008 and i think the registry was there even when the configuration system was started for first time im sure this is a false positive of malwarebytes. :frowning:

No problems here.

Well i think the recommendation i know now. And i think its to ignore right ? :frowning:

Are you using msconfig as a startup monitor?

It should be set like the picture.

From:
How to troubleshoot configuration errors by using the System Configuration utility in Windows XP applies to Vista and Windows 7

Return to normal startup

After you complete your troubleshooting and fix your configuration, return to a normal startup. Follow these steps:
1.Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK.
2. On the General tab, click Normal startup.
3. Click OK.
4. Restart your computer.
