Any advise about which one of Avast! (free edition) to use till 2014 fixed?

Can anyone advise an older version and give download link if possible?
just need fast, reliable and able to get virus definiton updates one, no firewall etc needed, just file and proper web protection enough

Personally I don’t have any problems with avast, have you tried a custom install and untick all features except for the 3 main shields to test if that works.

I experienced system issues, web-network issues till now with 2014, i think i will rely on older version which i had almost no problem, for a while more
