Any Free Safe RAM Checking App? (RESOLVED)

Is there any Free, Safe RAM Checking App out there?
Something that’ll give the RAM a good thorough Checkout for any problems?

I advise MEMTEST
You may even want to get UBCD

Don’t go looking for problems, who knows what you may find, you should only need to check if you are constantly getting memory related errors.

Oh, it’s not like I’m bored and / or have OCD and just want to check my computer’s RAM for no reason at all, David.

You may or may not have seen me mention here on the Forum that my sister’s computer that I am borrowing has had an intermittent Boot Up problem all along since I borrowed the computer. I’m simply trying to see if I can find the cause of the problem.

For example, I have for the most part already ruled out Windows and the software in general being the problem since I already performed a System Recovery from the Factory Image partition and that didn’t fix the problem. Then yesterday I installed SP2 and that didn’t fix the problem.

I have run that certain System Files Check or whatever it’s called from Tweaking.com’s Windows Repair and it says that it fixes SOME Files, but that it still has SOME corrupt Files that it couldn’t fix. (Which I don’t know why there’d be corrupt Files since I just performed a System Recovery.) It supposedly had corrupt Files BEFORE the System Recovery and supposedly now again has corrupt Files AFTER the System Recovery.

Anyway, so by now the situation seems to point towards HARDWARE as being the problem.
So THAT’s why I figured if there was a good, safe, reliable RAM Testing App out there, why not try it?

Thanks for the links, Eddy.

Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, and Windows Memory Diagnostic.

Alright! Awesome! I tried that Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool and it worked great.
It found No Errors.
Thanks, Johnny!

I also ran a little over 2 Passes of the Memtest86 Diagnostic Tool.
It too found No Errors.
Thanks, Eddy!

I’ll consider this topic RESOLVED.
