I’m using Claws on FC7 and I’m looking for an AV app to scan incoming email. Does Avast have any interest in making plugins for Linux email clients? Are there any other alternatives besides ClamAV?

I agree, why make us have to use two different AV programs, other than for testing of false positives and such… I won’t stand for it
To tell the truth, I personally have nothing against ClamAV its a great scanner and isn’t that much different from avast. They both get updates for their virus database several times a day, have great CLI scanners, and their GUI scanners have problems
