I already been use AVG antivirus, norton anti virus, and the last is using Avast home edition to scan my computer, the result is in good condition, no virus found in my computer.
Once i connect to internet, i worry about they have some virus or spyware will get into my computer through internet, mean while i already install Avast home edition anti virus for my computer.
Did this anti virus software will prevent or protect my computer once notice those virus are coming to attack my computer?
Please give some advise. or maybe have other solution to prevent it happen.
Also, make sure there are no remains of AVG & Norton on your computer by using the appropriate removal tools for each version of those antivirus programs.
Yes Avast! Home default settings look really good and its will surf anywhere you will go to or open. Even if you got a anti virus its didnt mean to go surf on some porn site or something. Surf where you trust and if a suspect is found then Avast! will be there to block it from acess to your computer.
I have used Avast! for about 3-4 years and i can say its a very good product.
honestly speaking is my company is running a internet cafe business, that y i cannot add on the firewall protection, some more i already been remove all the anti virus software beside Avast.
for my suggestion to my company is all computer have to install avast anti virus software and scan it. this is the way to delete all the virus have been hidden in some file, especially in EXE file, once i scan my computer using avast, it can find the virus such as win32:sality-gen, then ask me to delete, cant repair, after delete, the whole program cannot be run anymore, have to reinstall again for particular program.
