I don’t want to see it any more!

Pls.give a hand!

Their Uninstall FAQ: http://www.ilivid.com/faq.htm#uninstall

→ no use!
→ if you go there, you just wasting your time!
→ you will never find a way to uninstall it!

To my understanding, there evolves a new ways of Virus called advertising virus!
→ Avast is NOT ABLE to kill this kind of virus at this moment!
→ advertising virus will occupy large amount of space of your facebook and/or other websites by posting their clients’ advertising banner
→ now this advertising virus changes to post, instead of iLivid’s ads, another advertising banner to my facebook webspace:

→ I use Avast Antivirus, but it have no way to stop it!

So can anyone give an hand how to remove this annoying advertising virus?

Thanks for any kind of help!

Hi hhtmp88,

At other user forums, the owner/vendor has actually come on the site and offered the exact same webpage, but, as you found, the uninstall instructions are pretty much useless. Scam.

Please have a read here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

Needed logs: Malwarebytes, OTL, and aswMBR.exe. Attach these logs in your next reply. “Attachments and other options”

A malware specialist will review your logs and will work with you to remove this rogue advertising virus once these logs are attached.

What are “Malwarebytes, OTL, and aswMBR.exe”, where can I find these?

Hello,

You should click this link here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

Read the introduction,

THEN

Click link provided for Malwarebytes Antimalware. This will download a file (use the second here for Major Geeks site) called mbam.exe

Do the same for OTL.exe and aswMBR.exe Install Run each one at a time and update each as needed; then scan and attach the new log produced. Follow all instructions as carefully as you can; then you should not have any problems running them. Other programs listed here are not needed at this time.

(See attached pictures below for example of installed programs:)

Attach the resulting logs from Malwarebytes and OTL (two), and aswMBR.exe

EDIT: Modified post as Pondus noted; information was incorrect. I am sorry about that. There is no need to update OTL or aswMBR. Malwarebytes may need to be updated tho before a scan is run to get the latest definitions.

Do the same for OTL.exe and aswMBR.exe Install each one at a time and update each as needed;
OTL and aswMBR are not installed ...... and do not have a update function... you download latest updated version when you need it
